About us
International Public School is a school with a difference. It is international in its outlook and Indian in its values and cultural norms. It aims at an integrated approach to education to build up the young citizen of tomorrow. Established in 1999 by Akal Charitable Trust, a Kolkata based non-profit organization, it provides high quality education with emphasis on co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
The school was established in 1999 under the Chairmanship of S Parmender Singh. Since then it has grown under the Registered Trust namely Akal Charitable Trust. Our first batch of class X appeared in the year 2007. Home center was granted to us in the year 2011. Starting with 6 students in 2007, We now have students appearing both for ICSE & ISC under Science, Commerce & Humanities stream.

At the International Public School, our only driving aim is to enable a generation of thinkers, doers and achievers.
As we look back at the 15 years since its inception, I feel only even more eager about the years to come. In these years, we have grown from a 12 odd primary education providers to a self-driven and ambitiously positioned, specialized secondary education institution.
We have experienced a humble, yet strongly formative 7 years of facilitating about 200+ students in earning their first formal acknowledgement of education - an average batch size of 30+ each year. Our primary sections focus on creating strong logical and practical foundations in all subjects that teach a child rapid learning skills and an ability to relate to real life environments – a critical ability in today’s world. We have a well formed primary school staff, who personally engage to guide your ward through all of their developmental needs - be it educational, vocational or behavioral.
In the higher grades, our approach takes on a more mentoring oriented role, where the subtle phase of self-discovery for each individual begins. We encourage every student to bring out their skills to affirm their dreams for the future through a range of talent developmental programs, in competitive spirit. We are most fortunate to have a commendable continuity in our executive leadership team of over 10 + years - Honorary Rector and Respected Principal, Together, the friendly administrative and teaching staff are committed to keep the school environment invigorated to bring out the best in your ward.
